바라보는 것들은 바라보는 그 자체에서 사라지고 담고자 하는 것은 담아내자 산화하여 공기에 스며든다. 어디에도 닮음이 없다 하여 가니 모든 것이 닮아서 쓰러졌었다. 사랑이라는 소용돌이 시간에서 그 속은 너무나 아픈 미움으로 싹트고 오히려 매일의 익숙한 습관이 살려내는 것들과 곁들로 연명하여 살아온 것들. 우리들의 모든 것은 우리들을 배제하여서 비켜가는 모습에서 살아내고, 살아낸 것은 이야기를 만든다. 무도한 무한의 수는 흐름을 빠르게 만들고 갈 길이 넓고 큰 목표는 순간에 죽어간다. 무엇이 무엇을 함을 벗어나는 게 왜 죄가 될까? 한편으로 아이들의 웃음에서 아이들의 수다스러움에 빛이 스며든 오후에 밤의 색채를 미리 담아낸다. 한편 빗물은 강물이 되어 바다로 떠나서 떠돌아다닌다. 한 그림, 한 인생, 하나의 시가 품은 따스함은 떠나가는 걸음에 무게감을 두지 않고 걸어서 걸음을 걸어 무겁게 웅크려서 라도 가게 만든다. 열망하는 색깔이, 가득해지는 고독의 빛깔이, 쓸쓸하지 않는 건 모두가 서로를 향해서 자리를 내어 쉼을 주기에 멈추지 않을 따스한 바람과 햇살에 예술을 내어주고 고마운 인사를 함께 한다. ■ 김인범

등작 ● 다른 시간과 공간을 넘어 다른 시간에 같은 공간을 겪었던 한 작가를 만났다. 등작 작가는 필자가 유럽 생활을 마치고 한국에서 적응하여 열심히 대학원을 다니고, 직장생활로 생활을 연명하던 시기에 유럽생활을 한 76년생 작가이다. 단순하지만 힘있고 정제된 그의 작품은 화려한 채색도와 조율된 구도에서 시각적인 매력을 자아낸다. 두껍게 채색된 캔버스 화폭 위의 현대예술은 쓸쓸해 보이지만 쓸쓸하지 않고, 우울할 법한 유럽의 정서가 묻어날 즈음에는 선명한 색채구도의 정밀한 비례분배에 관객을 잠시 다른 시간과 공간에 오히려 공감대를 형성하게 하기 때문이다. 최소한 필자에겐 그러하다. 그렇게 형성되는 낯설지만, 낯설지 않은 색채의 기교를 통한 공감은 결국 조율과 이해 그리고 동시대 다른 공간을 다시 살피게 한다. 그리고 따사로웠던 서구생활 반쪽의 이면이 그에게 여전히 계속됨을 암시한다. 어떠한 고충이 있었다면, 그가 극복하고자 하는 무언가가 색채의 미로 잘 달래어 졌음을 짐작해 본다. ■

김영우 ● 시각이 우선하는 시대에서 감각은 멀지 않고, 감정은 모호해졌다. 사진의 곳곳에는 초점이 사라지고 뭉그러진 이미지의 화면에 투영된 화자가 남아 외치는 작은 목소리가 들렸다. "아주 작은 소수의 목소리." 지구에는 크고 큰 사건들의 허상이자 실재하는 고통과 아픔의 곳간에서 미처 대피하지 못한 생명들을 위로하는 교회당이 있다. 그것은 마음에서 행동으로 행동에서 미약한 잠잠한 잠으로 이어지는 미약한 떨림. 무엇인가? 아무것도 이해가 없는 백지에서 쓸려가는 시간의 무한함과 유한함 사이에서. 그리하여 까맣고 검은 색채의 표면에 새겨진 하늘아래에서 살아내는, 살아낸 한 인간의 사진과 예술이 따뜻한 인정이 스며들지 못하여 달뜬 꺄무륵한 잿빛의 심정에도 본인은 빛을 찾아서 빛을 담고자 행하여 수고스러운 생의, 단락을 꿈꾸는 건 의미를 떠나서 무의식의 꿈과의 마찰에 있음에. 그리하여서 한 예술가의 작품에 담긴 독일 베를린에서의 정치 사회 문화 경제의 경계가 다른 나라에서도 이입이 가능하기에, 감정과 생각의 폭을 각자의 철학에 담아서 느껴 보길 권유하게 된다. ■

베를린, 2016-17 고려대학교 대학원에서 박사과정을 수료하고 혹독한 아르바이트를 독일 프랑크푸르트에서 마친 후, 임금 체불인 상황에서 모교가 있는 (베를린 자유대학교-연극학, 미술사 졸업) 베를린을 다시 찾았다. 도시는 눈발과 아랍인들의 수용 속에 새롭게 달구어 졌지만, 베를린 본연의 상징화된 문패들은 사라지지 않았다. 매력이고 경건한 미였고, 사상 속에 움직이는 미감은 여기 저기서 찾아볼 수 있었다. ● 먼저 구 서독 쪽에선 국립도서관에서 마주 본 베를린 신 국립미술관의 유리벽이 그러하고, 그 옆에 오막살이 집처럼 지어진 마태우스 교회가 운치를 더한다. 구 동독에 거주하는 한 친구 집을 방문했을 때의 노란 색 문고리 또한 이색적이다. 고리를 잡고 손을 들었다 내리면 여전히 벨 소리가 들린다. 누가 그 옛날 동독 문고리의 소리가 오늘날까지 지속하여 울릴 수 있다고 상상할 수 있었을까? 베를린 시민들의 독특함과 영구성을 느낄 수 있다. ● 알렉산더 광장은 구 동독의 상징이고, 베를린의 KaDeWe 백화점은 1900년대 초반에 지어졌으며 서독의 백화점이라는 의미로 오늘날까지 존속한다. 베를린 하늘은 겨울에도 유난히 뭉게구름 속에 천상의 천국을 자아냈다. 지하철을 타면 볼 수 있는 동서독 경계의 상징인 브란덴브르크 문은 열차의 차창에 문양으로 정교히 새겨져 있다. 그러나 로자 룩셈부르크와 같은 불운의 철학자를 만들기도 했던 독일 정치인들에게 베를린은 결코 단순한 정치, 문화, 사회를 형성한 도시는 아니다. 이제 다시 내게 역시 정치의 담론으로 거듭 언급되는 독일의 수도 베를린을 나의 추억과 공유하며 공개하기란 쉽지 않다. 하지만 베를린은 통일된 도시로 거듭난 것이 기정사실이다. ■ 김영우

The looking things disappear from the looking itself, and the things to be contained are oxidized and permeated into the air. I heard that there was no resemblance anywhere, so everything looked alike and collapsed. In the whirlpool of love, the inside sprouted with such painful hate, and rather, the things that daily familiar habits bring to life by living with them. Everything about us lives out of the way by excluding us, and everything that lives makes a story. Innocent numbers speed up the flow, have a wide way to go, and the big goal dies at the moment. Why is it a sin to deviate from something? On the other hand, it captures the color of the night in advance in the afternoon when light permeates from children's laughter to children's chatter. Meanwhile, rainwater becomes a river and leaves for the sea and wanders. The warmth of one picture, one life, and one poem makes you go even if you curl up heavily by walking without weighing on the steps you leave. The color of longing, the color of loneliness that fills up, is not lonely, and everyone gives art to each other in the warm wind and sunshine that will not stop to give them a break, and they share grateful greetings. ■ Kim, In Beom

In 2016-17, after completing my PhD at the "Korea" University and after a hard unpaid work in Frankfurt am Main, I came back to Berlin, where I did my Magistra degree. (Berlin Free University, theater studies, art history). The city may have been renewed with snow and the inclusion of Arab people, but the sign of Berlin's symbolized uniqueness has not disappeared. It was sacred attractiveness and that beautiful feeling in the spirit was found here and there. ● At first on the old west side is the glass wall of the new national gallery, and the Matheus Church built next to it enhances the atmosphere. A friend lived on the east side and when I visited him there was the curious yellow door handle. When I pull the door handle up and down once, it made quite a loud noise. Who can imagine that the old east sound of door handle can still ring today? You can feel the uniqueness and eternity of the Berliners. ● Alexanderplace is a symbol of East Berlin, KaDeWe was built in 1907 and still exists as old west-side's department store today. The sky in Berlin is cloudy and sacred in winter, like heaven. When you get on the train, you can see the sign of the Brandenburg Gate, which decorates the glass door of the train and symbolizes the border between East Germany and West Germany. But Berlin, like Losa-Luxemburg, allowed a misfortune to exist and Berlin was not easy for some, both politically and culturally. Now it was not easy for me to mention Berlin politically as the capital of Germany while sharing my memories of the city. In any case, the city of Berlin is developed as a reunited city. ■ Kim, Young-Woo

Was man sieht, erlöscht in sich, was man enthalten will wird nach dem Erthalten in die Luft oxidiert eindrungen. Wenn ich weiter geht, weil es keine Ähnlichkeit existiert, dann kommt alles mit Ahnlichkeit zu mir. Von der Zeit der Liebe erwuchs die Innerlichkeit als Hassgefühl und was ich lieber mit der Gewöhnlichkeit des jeden Tages leben lasse und was ich mit der Nebensächlichkeit überlebe. Alles von uns lebt durch das Ansicht der beiseitig gehenden Gesichte aus und was gelebt hat macht davon die Geschichte. Die überhebliche, ungezählte Zahl lässt das Fliessen schneller machen, der Weg ist breit und Das große Ziel stirbt im Augenblick. Warum ist es eine Sünde, sich von dem, was man tut, zu entziehen? Einerseits enthalte ich früher die Farbe der Nacht am Tag beim Lachen und durch Geschwätz von Kindern und andererseits geht das Regen als Fluss in das Meer weiter hin und her. Ein Bild, Ein Leben und die Warmlichkeit die ein Lied hat, enthält keine Schwierigkeit über weggehende Schritten sondern geht und geht mit der Schwierigkeit obwohl es sich kauert, lässt weitgehen. Die erwunschte Farbe, erfüllte Farbe der Einsamkeit ist nicht allein, weil alle gegenseitig die Plätze haben lassen, da bedanke ich mich mit dem ungeblieben warmen Wind und der Sonne, die nicht einfach bleiben. ■ Kim, In Beom

Im Jahr 2016-17, habe ich mit Abschluss meines Doktorstudiums an der "Korea" Universität nach einer harten unbezahlten Arbeit in Frankfurt am Main Berlin wieder besucht, wo meine Magistra-Abschluss gemacht habe. (Berliner Freie Universität,Theaterwissenschaft, Kunstgeschichte). Die Stadt war zwar mit Schnee und der Aufnahme der arabischen Leute erneurt, aber das Schild der berliner symbolisierter Eigenheit wurde nicht verschwunden. Es war heilige Attraktivität und das schöne Gefühl in der Geist wurde hin und wieder gefunden. ● Zuerst in der alten westen Seite ist die Glaswand der neuen national Gallerie so,und danben gebaute Matheus Kirche erhöht die Stimmung. In der osten Seite lebte ein Freund und als ich ihn besuchte gab es den neugierigen gelben Türgriff. Wenn ich den Türgriff einmal nach hoch und wieder nach niedrig zieht, klang es ziemlich lautes Geräusch. Wer kann sich vorstellen, dass das alte osten Geräusch von Türgriff bis heute weiter klingen kann? Man kann sich die Eigenheit und Ewigkeit der Berliner empfinden. ● Alexanderplatz ist ein Symbol von Ost-Berlin, KaDeWe wurde im Jahr 1907 gebaut und existiert noch als Kaufhaus der Westen bis heute. Der Himmel von Berlin ist im Winter auch wie ein Himmelreich wolkig und heilig. Wenn man in die Bahn einsteigt, ist Zeichen vom Brandenburg Tor zu sehen, das auf dem Glasstür der Bahn dekoriert und die Grenze zwishen Ostdeutschland und Westdeutschland symbolisiert. Aber Berlin liess wie Losa-Luxemburg ein Unglück existieren und Berlin war für manche sowohl politisch als kulturell nicht einfach. Jetzt war es mir auch nicht einfach Berlin als die Hauptstadt von Deutschland politisch zu erwähnen während ich an die Stadt meine Erinnerung teile. Auf jeden Falls ist die Stadt Berlin als eine wiedervereinigte Stadt entwickelt. ■ Kim, Young-Woo
